SPECIFICATION WRITING

Project particular specifications are tailored to the specific requirements of each project. They include detailed information on all aspects of the work, from the materials and products to be used to the construction methods and quality standards.
Technical specifications provide detailed information on specific materials, products, or systems. They are often used to supplement master or project specifications.
We can review existing specifications to identify any errors, omissions, or inconsistencies. We can also audit the existing company specifications to ensure that they comply with all applicable standards and regulations.

Specification Prepared at Different Stages of the Works:
- Schematic Design Phase: Annotated Table of Contents.
- Design Development: Outline specs depicting intended materials and systems.
- Detail Design / Construction Documents: Preparation of full-length CSI-MF (3-Part Section Format – General, Product, and Execution) architectural specifications, including LEED specifications, review of General Conditions, preparation of procurement documents, and Division 01 specifications.
- Coordination with other consultants to help ensure consistency in format and references.
- Bidding: Review and respond to RFI’s relating to specifications.
